Plan de Corones - Kronplatz

The Plan de Corones (Kronplatz) is a mountain of the Alps 2,275 metres located on the southern Val Pusteria, in South Tyrol, 3 kilometers south of Brunico. It offers a wonderful choice of winter and summer activities and a panoramic view of the Dolomites.

In July 2015, the museum "MMM" (Messner Mountain Museum) was inaugurated on the top of the Kronplatz, wanted by the South Tyrolean extreme climber Reinhold Messner.
The ski experience in Kronplatz offers several choices for incredible holidays in the snow so that every day you can make a different choice between staying in the area and face the impressive five black slopes or take a little time to visit the breath taking views of the Dolomiti di Sesto/Alta Pusteria in the border of the country, that are connected by the ski train called ski pustertal express.
Another day an early wake up and a visit to Dolomites superski is highly recommended!
With Dolomiti Superski pass, skiers can use the lifts and slopes in Kronplatz and the Piculin ski bus service (that takes you to the cable car Piculin) opened in 2007 that runs every 20 minutes between the ski areas Kronplatz and Alta Badia and gives visitors access to the Sellaronda resort by Piz de Plaies ski lift
Every day in the snow can become an amazing adventure!
